Each TPRI classroom kit contains everything
that teachers need in order to administer the Screening and the
Inventory:
- Easy-to-follow Teacher 's Guide
- Story booklet and task cards
- All required manipulatives, including
a magnetic board and colorful foam magnetic letters
- Stopwatch (for fluency testing) in G1,
G2, G3 and Fluency Kit
- CD-ROM guide for training test administrators (K-2
Kit)
- Grade-specific student record sheets and
class summary forms
- Intervention Activities Guide
- Online electronic tabulation
Administration
- In Kindergarten, the Screening and Inventory
Sections should be administered at the middle and end of the
school year.
- In Grades 1-3, administration of the Screening
Section should take place at the beginning of the school year.
The Inventory Section should then be administered at the beginning,
middle and end of the school year to monitor progress in reading
development.
